Environmental Protection Lien (New York City)

Description
Insures that, as of policy date, no environmental protection liens filed in accordance with state law against the land, except as may be disclosed in Schedule B. However, liens under Public Health Law Section 1307 are excepted from coverage.
Requirements
Available for residential loan policies only.
Searches must be conducted for environmental protection liens in the Clerk’s office.
